Edmonton Regional Science Fair
The RASC Edmonton Centre participates in the Edmonton Regional Science Fair each year by sponsoring the RASC Astronomy Award. Judges provided by the RASC review astronomy themed projects and may select a winner and an honourable mention for this special award. Starting in 2011, there are two award categories:
- EL - Elementary, Grades 4-6
- Jr./Sr. - Junior/Senior, Grades 7-12
The winner in each category receives a plaque, a certificate, and cheque for $150. The honourable mention receives a certificate.
