The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada is a group of people who share a common interest in astronomy. With a history of over one hundred years and nearly 5000 members, there are 28 centres situated in most large cities and all ten provinces.
The Edmonton Centre was established in 1932 and has a current membership of over 250. The major activities of the Centre include monthly meetings, dark site observing sessions, on-going public observing, public education, and special events such as astronomy workshops, star parties, and much more.
